BBYF Honors Bob Simpson at Gala |
|
Fort Worth businessman and philanthropist Bob Simpson was the honoree at the BBYF's Lifetime Achievement Award Gala Nov. 10 at Ridglea Country Club in Fort Worth.
After accepting the Lifetime Achievement Award, Simpson sat down with Rangers' President Nolan Ryan and emcee Chuck Morgan for an interview.
Throughout the years the Bobby Bragan Youth Foundation has honored some of the biggest names in sports and philanthropy, including baseball greats Hank Aaron, Joe DiMaggio, and Willie Mays; golf legend Byron Nelson; and Dallas Cowboys legends Tom Landry and Roger Staubach. BBYF has recently narrowed its focus to honoring area philanthropists, beginning with the selection of T. Boone Pickens as honoree of the 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award Gala.
