Beverly Harkness, Mother of 2010 Scholarship Winner – Letter to BBYF
Ms. Cooper,
I am the mom of one of your scholarship winners for the Class of 2010. I wanted to follow up and let you know how he did his first year of college. Ryan ended the year with a 3.8 GPA and made an amazing transition from high school to college. He is attending Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma, where he is also playing football.
As a parent, I wanted to thank you for making an investment in my child’s future. I think it is important for your organization to know that they made a wise investment and Ryan absolutely loves being in college. Thanks to the Bobby Bragan Youth Foundation, my son has a solid foundation after his first year and we look for great things from him in the future. Words cannot express how appreciative we are for the scholarship that he received. I know that Mr. Bragan is looking down and smiling today.
